The Penina also encompasses two 9-hole facilities - "The Academy" which winds its way between the holes of the “Championship Course” and "The Resort", to the far side of the Hotel. The Resort course is a 9 hole, par 35 course with a length of 2987 meters. It is a very pleasant course to play, not as demanding as the Championship Course, but with enough strategic placed holes to test the best golfers.

The Resort Course, a more recent nine holes on the north side of the hotel, is strategically demanding. It can be considered a challenge for the more experienced players but equally provides gentle training grounds for beginners. Sir Henry Cotton has used all his principles, putting in a number of lakes and sand hazards to make it an enjoyable course that tests the skills of all abilities. The entire Resort has gained recognition by and is a member of a sanctuary system, dedicated to the protection of wildlife. The driving range, practice chipping, putting and bunker facilities, make this the perfect golf resort.

After you´re game you´ll be ready for a cool refreshment. Here at the resort you´ll find 2 bars and 4 restaurants to cater to all your needs. The restaurants serve a wide variety of dishes from your typical delicious local cuisine to an international selection. One of the restaurants is a quaint little Italian pizzeria.
