Vale da Pinta Golf

Interesting 18 holes course with ornamental lakes in a rolling terrain dotted with carob, fig, almond and olive trees (including one olive tree over 1200 years old).

This is a well laid out and interesting course. Set in a truly Algarve landscape with almond, olive and carob trees decorating the course that rolls through small valleys and hills. Two holes that deserve special mention are the par-3 tenth and the par-5 thirteenth. The former has a large bunker defending the green against your shot, the latter, winds through a valley for 541 metres.

Host of the European Seniors Tour Qualifying final, Vale da Pinta is rightly respected not just for its playability and challenging layout but for outstanding levels of beauty and enjoyment. Designed by the famous American golf course architect Ronald Fream and inaugurated in 1992 Vale da Pinta has earned its place as one of the best designed courses in Europe.

Relax after the challenge. The modern Pinta Clubhouse welcomes each golfer or non golfer with a warm, cosy and tranquil atmosphere. To satisfy your thirst or hunger, you´ll find the restaurant is open for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner. It offers very good traditional Portuguese and International cuisine, vegetarian and diabetic meals. The pro shop caters to all your golfing needs.
