Desert Springs; the "Indiana" (as the course is known) is the first and only desert Golf Course in Europe.

The desert terrain provides a totally different aspect to golf in Spain. It has been built to the full USGA specifications and quality standards of the now famous desert courses of Arizona and California.

It was opened in 2002. The fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and the desert terrain provide a totally different aspect to golf in Spain. This is truly a breathtaking course to play and will be enjoyed by all levels of golfers.
 
The fairways have been kept generous to ensure that the less expert player can enjoy and improve his game while absorbing the awesome landscape and views that encompass “The Indiana”. Trees, and bunkers have been strategically situated and various hazards carefully placed, making this a challenging course

There is swimming, tennis, mountain biking, a gym, day spa, a running trail with obstacle course, two on-site restaurants and bars and a nearby beach. The champion Indiana 18 hole golf course is a challenging task for professionals and novices alike and as you will see, a lot more than just a golf course.
