El Rompido South Golf

The first of the 2 El Rompido courses, opened in 2003 and immediately got fantastic reviews all over Europe.

The course designer Alvaro Arana once again integrates the flora and fauna of the region successfully into the course allowing the player to enjoy the nature just as much as the game. The fact that this was done so effectively allowed the El Rompido to be granted the license to build the sister North Course.

The south course is a beautiful Parkland course with some natural marsh areas. The incredible scenery will add to the enjoyment of the game and the walk from the 8th green to the 9th tee takes you across a 30 meter pontoon that crosses the protected marshland where you can look down into the clean clear water and find freshwater crabs and an abundance of bird life.

The course was built to fill all your needs so of course you will find a driving range, pitch and putting greens and a practice bunker. After you´ve had your fill of exercise and the game, relax with a fine sherry or wine from the region in the state of the art Clubhouse. Don´t forget to visit the Pro-shop/boutique with its professional, friendly staff to help you with all your golfing needs and after your Clubhouse visit, a dip in the sea is the perfect final touch to your day.
