Baviera Golf

Baviera Golf has been designed by José María Cañizares, one of Spanish most international and charismatic golfers, whose records include 5 European Tour tournaments and 2 World Championships, as well as several participations in the Ryder Cup.

It is a flat course characterized by its wide greens and with many movements, a great diversity of obstacles that offers a variety of strokes and an ideal design for all types of handicap. The variety of the holes and the unbeatable views of both the Mediterranean and the mountains that protect it, contribute to enjoy and share an unforgettable day. Situated in the foothills of the Sierra de la Almijara mountain range, in Andalusia. The main feature of the first 9 holes is the fairly even terrain, where water comes into play on 4 holes and makes the 4th hole especially complicated. On the next 9 holes water intervenes mainly on the 10th and 17th.

At Baviera Golf the par-3s and par-5s deserve a special mention due to their level of difficulty.

All of the fairways of Baviera Golf Course are carpeted with Bermuda grass for maximum enjoyment of the round. The areas sown with Penncross and the bunkers filled with fine white sand contrast starkly with the deep green of the fairways.
