San Roque Golf - New Course

This exclusive Golf Club with its Old Course, its New Course and its fabulous historic Clubhouse is rated number 5 in Spain.

Sitting between Malaga and Gibraltar in the Costa del Sol, this course promises some fantastic rounds of golf for players of all levels. If you think you need some practice, you´ll also find all the facilities here that you need including driving range, pitch and putting greens.

The San Roque New Course has been open since 2005 and is a great alternative to the Old Course. Although the two sister courses are right alongside one another with similar terrain, they are very different. Watch out for the large lake and water hazards but the real danger lies in the extremely strategically placed bunkers. You´ll find concentration important on this course. Unfortunately, the same distractions are as prominent here as on the Old Course - The magnificent views of the Sea and the majestic Rock of Gibraltar have a magical way of drawing your attention away from the game.

After your game on this Championship course the historical Club house awaits you. The mansion was the home of the Domecq sherry family and has all the comforts you can imagine including a heated pool to relax in. After a relaxing drink at the bar it´s an absolute must to have a meal in one of the 4 outstanding restaurants.
