The Vidago Palace Hotel offers rooms in three categories – Classic, Superior and Privilege. Each type has features in common, in the context of a perfect stay for a couple or a family.

Elegance and sophistication
The rooms of the Vidago Palace Hotel are large and yet cosy, enhanced by features like beautiful Beiriz tapestries, attractive chaises longues, generous bathrooms, most of them with natural light, sophisticated sanitary ware, and detailing in the British style evocative of the Belle Époque.

The views on both sides of the hotel give onto the park, where dozens of species of century-old trees – native and exotic – seem to form a marvellous protective dome. The Vidago Palace Hotel offers 70 rooms & suites in all. There are 41 Classic rooms available, 16 Superior rooms, 3 Privilege rooms, 6 Junior Suites and 4 Suites.

Vidago Golf Club

The excellent Vidago Palace golf course has been redesigned by Cameron & Powell from a Mackenzie Ross original built in 1936. The course has now been completely rebuilt to USGA greens and tees specifications, and has been converted into a Par 72. The course is now suitable for international championships, preserving the identity of the original design and faithfully reflecting its beauty.

Its features include high level tees and greens, strategic location of bunkers and greens that require a perfect view to judge their unevenness. As a result, the Vidago Palace golf course will surprise and challenge the most experienced player.

In the golf course there are great contrasts that have in common the special respect for the natural environment. A feature of this course is the retaining walls at all tees, built in local stone and ancient trees. The first four holes played at the centenary Vidago Palace anticipate the next 11, built from scratch in the Oura Valley. The last 3 are played in the upper part of the course with the great and magnificent view of hills and villages. Every hole is a challenge and each of the last 9 is completely different from the last, so golfers can test and enjoy the full range of strokes.

The recently expanded course includes a golf academy, 340m driving range, chipping zone and 2 putting greens. Buggies, trolleys, electric trolleys and club rentals are available at the Club House.
