Outdoor facilities
The building has 2 entrances: a rear entrance, inspired by an Andalusian style, and the main entrance in a strong Canarian style, with a typical wooden balcony that turns the front into an open-air museum. The main entrance to the back entrance is surrounded by Indian laurels, these crowns grow into a natural sunshade. This entrance is decorated in shades of yellow and ocher respecting the typical Andalusian style (cortijo).

In the courtyard of the Araucaria is a fountain with a non-stop relaxing sound of the waterfall. In ancient times it was a well for horses.

The large swimming pool is set in the middle of a tropical garden full of vegetation and tall palm trees. It also has a great veranda with a bar lounge where you can relax and enjoy a snack and a drink.

El Cortijo - Club de Campo

El Cortijo Country Club is one of the best golf destinations in Gran Canaria and Spain. It has an excellent 18 hole golf course (par 72), in addition to a driving range, putting green, academy, clubhouse with restaurant, pro shop and several leisure areas.

The golf course has a length of 6,308 meters and is one of the longest courses in Spain. The design, up to six tees per hole, allows players of all levels to enjoy the game.

The holes are surrounded by several small lakes and these are sure to charm and challenge you, both aesthetically and strategically.

Golf course designers Blake Stirling and Marco Martin have a broad curriculum, notably Blake Stirling has been the Chief Designer at Pete Dye (considered one of the foremost golf course designers in the world).

The golf course debuted internationally with a European Tour tournament, the Spanish Open in 2002.
