Alicante Golf

The course is located in San Juan just meters from the Mediterranean and five minutes from the centre of Alicante. It was designed in 1998 with protection of the environment and the saving of water being it´s top priorities. It is actually the first course in Spain which was awarded environmental quality certificates.

Today it is still considered one of the best kept course in the Iberian Peninsula. The course consists of wide fairways, fast greens and no blind shots whatsoever. There are 5 beautiful big lakes which provide water hazards for 12 of the 18 holes. The most outstanding feature of the course however are the Roman Ruins. In the construction of the course, Roman ruins dating back to the 1st century BC were discovered at the 14th hole. After the careful excavations and the ruins being declared protected, it was decided that one must either play over or around them.

At the end of your game, you’ll find that the clubhouse has everything you need, from a refreshing beverage in the bar or restaurant to a sauna, a gymnasium and a pro shop.
