Traditional Andalusia with a personal touch. Originally a farm house over 350 years ago Finca la Mota is a small, family run, beautifully restored rustic Inn. Set in the Andalusian countryside overlooking the fruit trees which at certain times of year resemble an extensive Technicolor carpet.

Tranquil dining
There is a large, private swimming pool for guests only situated beside the restaurant and bar serving delightful, international cuisine from a vast and varied menu. Here you can dine and relax in the tranquil surroundings amongst the local residents.

Traditional Andalusia
The 12 rooms at Finca la Mota are rustically decorated in traditional Andalusian style, terracotta floor tiles with heavy wooden furniture, light bright walls and soft drapes at the windows. They have private bathrooms and are non smoking for your comfort. The cities of Marbella, Fuengirola, Malaga (airport) and the fabulous beaches of the Costa del Sol are only 25 minutes away.

Situated just 5 minutes from the town of Alhaurín el Grande the Alhaurín Golf is in fact two courses. An 18 hole golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros and secondly there are two par 3 9-hole courses and a driving range in the same development. Located in one of the most beautiful spots on the Costa del Sol with great views of the Sierra de Mijas, the undulating terrain makes Alhaurín desirable for all golfers.

Alhaurin Golf

The trees and plants on the course are typically Mediterranean with plenty of pine trees, Spanish oaks, cypress, orange trees, palms and olives plus a wide range of aromatic plants like thyme and rosemary.

The course is made up of 5 par fives, 5 par threes and 8 par fours, providing a balanced game for low and high handicappers alike. Water only comes into play on three holes and greens are lightly guarded by bunkers in most cases. Hole number 6, par 5 dogleg right, is one of those every golfer must play. The views from tee and green are simply outstanding. Big hitters may take on the dogleg and reach the green in two.

The club and resort offer everything you need but if you do still have a bit of energy left over after your fabulous game, you are just a few minutes from the fantastic beaches of Málaga, Marbella, and Mijas.
